The mixed media on that dumpster fire platform is a weirdly perfect tribute to a San Francisco tourist trap, and the 3-inch height makes it a great desk oddity. Took about a month to ship after the show opened, but the vinyl details are sharper in person than I expected.
The bowl shape is so perfectly awful, I can’t stop laughing at it sitting on my shelf. Even though it’s mixed media on vinyl, the layers of chowder chaos feel oddly well-crafted for something this ridiculous.
This thing is way more absurd in person than in the photos—the vinyl texture on the dumpster makes it feel oddly premium. It’s a tiny 4-inch sculpture but it’s got serious presence on my shelf. Worth the wait for the gallery shipping, it’s become the best conversation starter I own.
