Compare ABAO Medusasa Panda and Mike Fudge's Kub Brick Red Camo. Decide which sofubi fits your display style, budget, and collectibility.
Quick answer
Choose ABAO Medusasa Panda for a playful, characterful display piece with fabric details, or Kub Brick Red Camo for a limited, collectible vinyl sculpture. Your decision hinges on whether you prioritize whimsy or rarity.
Design philosophy: playful vs. sculptural
ABAO Medusasa Panda leans into a soft, characterful art toy style with a panda-themed Medusa twist. Its sculpted vinyl body, glossy painted details, and textured black panda ears give it a friendly, approachable look that suits a desk or shelf.
Kub Brick Red Camo by Mike Fudge is a more straightforward vinyl figure, produced by UVD Toys. Its camo pattern and brick red colorway appeal to collectors who favor bold, graphic design over character-driven charm.
Edition size and collectibility
Kub Brick Red Camo is limited to 150 pieces worldwide, making it a scarce find for serious collectors. That rarity can drive desirability and future trade value, but it also means fewer opportunities to acquire one.
ABAO Medusasa Panda does not list an edition size in the catalog, so its collectibility is less about scarcity and more about its unique design and fabric garment details. If limited editions matter to you, that absence is a key consideration.
Trade-off at a glance
- If you want rarity: Go with Kub Brick Red Camo. Its 150-piece worldwide limit makes it a scarce, conversation-starting piece. Check the edition number on the box to verify authenticity.
- If you want character: Choose ABAO Medusasa Panda. Its panda theme and fabric outfit give it a soft, playful personality that fits a desk or shelf.
- If you want a budget-friendly pick: Kub Brick Red Camo is priced lower (USD 57.80 vs. USD 99.00), so it's an easier entry into sofubi collecting. Compare current market prices before buying, as secondary prices can vary.
